For several Facebook posts recently, I have showed JoJo glimpsing at his newly blossoming pear tree that we planted last fall, checking it out. As a dad (& a pastor), I'll admit that I often look for teachable moments or things that illustrate the truths of life. Well, I'd say that this tree-planting effort really has come through for us (and our son is certainly a teachable one).
